Geralyn Greco

TWILIGHT

Let’s make something beautiful that no one else can touch.

Setting fire to the walls,

reaching slowly towards the brush.

Let’s soar beneath the moon

where no one else can reach.

Dividing earth and sky,

rolling current underneath.

Let’s climb atop the mountains

where no one else can find.

Exploring bodies swaying,

rumbling surface shakes the mind.

Let’s make something beautiful

that no one else can touch.

Setting fire to the walls,

reaching slowly towards the brush.

Bio:

Geralyn Greco has been writing poetry since she was eight years old. Her love of writing has only grown stronger over the years, and is excited for the opportunity to share her work. In 1905, Geralyn’s maternal great-great grandparents, Vito and Rachela, came to America with their five young children in hopes for a better life. Geralyn hopes to honor their memory through her craft and dedicates her work to her late Grandmother Josephine Onorato.
