Victoria Johnson

Bio and Artist Statement

Victoria is a 38 year old wife and mother to two young girls, ages 7 and 13. She is from Independence, Louisiana and currently resides in the Livingston, Texas area. She also has deep roots in the Hudson Valley in Upstate New York. Her Italian heritage comes from her late mother, Donna Cuti Williams who was 100% Italian with her roots going back to the towns of Palermo, Mezzojuso and Casteldaccia in Sicily. 

Victoria has loved Photography since the age of nine. She graduated with honors in Photography from Stratford Career Institute in April of 2013. Most of her work is Portrait, Documentary and Events, but has recently added Street/Urban to her resume. She has had two of her street images exhibited at the Urban Grind Volume 2 Street Photography Showcase in San Antonio, Texas and another image exhibited at Lone Star College-Kingwood Fine Art Gallery. She is also a monthly contributor to Native Hoop Magazine. 


Her Garbage Dump image was taken in Houston, Texas a month before Covid19 put her and her family at home. She enjoys photographing graffiti and city scenes while visiting Houston. Her Barbershop and Railroad images were taken in Livingston, Texas at the time of the Covid19 Pandemic.
