Victoria Johnson was born in Hammond, Louisiana and raised in Independence, Louisiana. She resides in the Livingston, Texas area and is the owner of Skye Breese Photography. She is a monthly contributor to Native Hoop Magazine and has had her work published and exhibited around the United States, as well as Canada and in the UK. Her Italian-American heritage comes from her late mother whose lineage goes back to the Palermo region of Sicily.
Artist Statement:
My spider image was taken on one of my digital point and shoot digital cameras. I took it in St. Francisville, Louisiana visiting a historical site. While walking around the property, the spider caught my eye so I took a photo of it.
